Reopening the shul

The synagogue is inching toward reopening.

We may be able to hold some High Holiday services. Please watch this space.

In the meantime, we expect to hold a Zoom Ma’ariv service this Friday evening (21 August), led by our president Martyn Rose.

If you are interested in attending, please email the shul or phone the Hon. Sec. (details elsewhere on this site).

As you may have noticed, we have had recent problems with the alarm.
Please bear with us.
BT thinks that the problem is in the telpehone wires under the road.
Alternatively there is a mutant algorithm in the system.
The electronics should be repaired this week (beginning Aug 31).
If you are inconvenienced by stray alarm noise, please contact the Hon, Sec. (see this site CONTACT)
We apologise for the inconvenience and irritation.

Coronavirus Pandemic

The synagogue is closed for the foreseeable future.

With great regret the Seder planned for the opening night of Pesach has also been cancelled.

Jewish people in the Southampton/South Hants geographical neighbourhood should feel free to call the synagogue secretary on his home number if they have issues that need addressing.  If there is no answer, leave a message, and you should receive a reply within a day or two.

In the meantime we wish all (Jews and Gentiles alike) a peaceful life and  a healthy outcome to the present disturbances.
